Conversation with Confucius

Confucius say "By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest;  and third, by experience, which is the most bitter." So I ask Confucius, "Which is wiser man?  The bitter man or the noble man?"

argument for federalism

The good thing about American Federalism is that states can experiment with new forms of government.  People seem to agree that testing new automobile designs, people test there software ... how can we test new ways of organizing our society?  I think a strong Federalist culture is a good and healthy thing for people everywhere.  It allows for the States to experiment with new forms of government.
